Busting Under-eye Bags: Cosmetically & Nutritiously

If you are in your teens or are in the 20-something age bracket where frat parties and a cool job require you to party like fauna (so nerdy), read on.

Some of the by-products of a rich and spoilt lifestyle are maladies like under-eye bags, red eyes, dark circles, etc. Researchers have found that such signs could signify a thyroid or kidney illness resulting in a permanent dampener on your night habits.

Continuous inflammation of the eyes leads to accumulation of pigment cells and as a result dark eyes. To be fair, party freaks are not the only ones to shudder at such news; desk-huggers like me face a similar dilemma due to less exercise, bad nutrition and an unhealthy poorly ventilated atmosphere.

The very same researchers advice us unfortunates to help our eyes by ensuring iron intake (the blood loves it) and guzzle up 2-3 litres of liquids per day.

Sure an eyelid surgery can help you get rid of the under-eye bags. In order to have it though you need to be above 18, have a healthy diet a couple of months before the blepharoplasty procedure and lay off smokes and drugs.

As the latter two things are usually what get people in the fix in the first place, it is better to start off by looking after what you ingest and how you workout. If the bags remain then get in touch with the Plastic Surgery Institute of California for a complete checkup for an eyelid surgery procedure.
